Accommodation

Due to limited accommodations on the island and to ensure all guests are able to stay in close proximity to the venue, we have reserved rooms at Gowlland Harbour Resort as well as the neighbouring Jade Resort and Taku Resort for all guests.

For ease of planning, we will create a rooming plan and provide accommodation details to all guests as soon as possible.

Travel

Quadra Island is an island off the eastern coast of Vancouver Island, in British Columbia, Canada. To get there, you have lots of options!

Because Quadra is an island, everyone will need to take a short 12-minute ferry (that accommodates cars) from the Campbell River Ferry Terminal. The cost of this ferry is approx. $23 per car and $10 per person (there is no return fee). Please see here for the ferry schedule.

For those flying to British Columbia, there are 5 main airport options to choose from.

The closest airport to Quadra is the Campbell River Airport (YBL). From there, it’s a 15-minute (12 kms) drive to the Ferry Terminal.

Other airport options on Vancouver Island include:

- Comox Valley Airport (YQQ): 51km drive (approx. 47min) to the ferry

- Nanaimo Airport (YCD): 171km drive (approx. 1hr 50min) to the ferry

- Victoria International Airport (YYJ): 268km (approx. 3hr 15min) to the ferry

If you are flying into Vancouver International Airport (YVR), you will need to take a ferry from the mainland to Nanaimo (either Tswwassen to Duke Point, or Horseshoe Bay to Nanaimo), then drive up island to the Campbell River Ferry Terminal and catch the car ferry to Quadra Island.

Once landed on Quadra Island, the drive to Gowlland Harbour Resort + other accommodations is approx. 15 minutes.
